Linkset Pairing Restriction

I am currently at a loss ..

does anybody know if its possible to detect via DXL if creation of a link is prevented by a linkset pairing restriction?

Well, in principle it could be possible to build up a function to see if the link-to-be would be allowed by the linkset definitions, but I have used DOORS error reporting for this (in DXL code, not tested):

Link l = null
string ErrMess = ""
noError
l = from_object -> to_object
ErrMess = lastError
if ((null l) && (ErrMess > ""))
   {
     ack "Error in link creation: " ErrMess
   }

Thanks a lot Pekka,

that's what I was looking for.
